it doesn't get better than home, now does it

So a little bit ago, I blogged about how I decided to start a new blanket. Today, I am sharing a sneak peek at it's beginnings! My first thought was to go with granny squares, but when I came across this beautiful, colorful design on Attic 24 , I couldn't resist! (it's a little ways down the page) Mine turned out a little different because it was guesswork on this one...but I kinda like it!

So anyways, I still have a ways to go. But I'm excited about it; hopefully I can get this one finished a bit faster than the last one!

So today is Saturday, and I'm not quite sure what the day has in store for me. I do know that I have some homework to get done, but can you blame me for not hopping on that train right now? It's a beautiful, free, Springy day! I will regret this decision later...dang it.
